- Manages a team of 2-3 Industrial Designers within the Research and Development (R&D) team.- Develops products under in-house brands such as AtlasIED & MTX Audio as well as OEM including BRP, Can-Am, Sea-Doo, Yamaha, Polaris, BMW, Harley-Davidson, General Motors, Ford.- Designs UX/UI interfaces for both desktop & mobile applications as well as embedded systems.- Works closely with acoustical, electrical, mechanical and firmware engineers.- Creates iterative concept designs using a range of tools including sketching, Illustrator, Photoshop, Solidworks, 3D printing, Keyshot and Proto.io.- Develops user personas and scenarios to help drive product design decisions.- Benchmarks competitive products and conducts market research to understand opportunities and gaps within the market.- Utilizes stage gate process for product development cycle.- Experienced with designing for mass production methods such as injection molding & metal casting, stamping, extrusion, rotational molding, as well as surface-mount and through-hole circuit board production.

- Created hand sketches, prototypes, production-ready CAD models, 2D prints and assembly documentation for mass production.- Designed fixtures for amplifier production line that increased output 50%.- Collaborated with the marketing department to understand user needs and developed collateral for use in marketing campaigns.- Worked with local and remote vendors to ensure manufacturability of designs.

- Multi-disciplinary paid internship run in partnership between SVID (Sweden’s Industrial Design Society) and local Swedish clients.- Clients included Tylo Saunas, M2 Retail Design and Kellquist’s Equestrian Equipment.- Deliverables included both conceptual designs for future use and production-ready models.- Created the design studio out of rooms in a local wilderness high school that was off for summer break.
