Over the last 6.5 years, I've had the real honor and privilege to work with such a wonderful team at Leia Inc through many exciting, challenging, tense, and rewarding times. I have worn many hats to bring glasses-free auto-stereoscopic switchable 2D-3D displays from the R&D lab to 5 immersive products. Process development and key contributor for core NIL IP. Some processes integrated for product development include organic residue removal, NIL adhesion control, aligned NIL, spray coat and μlitho, defect removal/masking for large substrates, reducing Moire defects, etc. Trained other technical staff.Designed, built, and automated R&D tools including custom precision xyzr aligner for bonding, NIL, and μlitho for <360mm substrates; spent $60k and saved ~$1.1M.

Wafer fab process support and improvement for cosmetic QC, ebeam evap, wet/dry etch, NIL, APCVD, laser dice, and DUV litho.Interfaced with and traveled to vendors to support tool/service evaluation; upgraded (CAD/3D print/coding) tools to enhance process capability for above processes.

Wafer track and DUV litho; photoresist coat process control; CAD, 3D print LED coupler.

Engineered 3D-printed mm-wave lens for small-format radar systems by ray trace, x-section FOV and signal attenuation tests, and CAD. Boosted detection range by 40% with equivalent form factor and power.

Drafted test method for soft contact lens optical power in saline solution. Investigated same in air through deformation, temperature, and humidity.

MWCNT fabrication by CVD with C2H2. Evaluated seed substrates and gas ratios, analyzed uniformity with SEM, presented findings at conferences (Butler U, RHIT), mentored students.

Characterized 5 unique SOFC interconnect coatings with scribe, stud pull, electrical conductivity, XSEM, and XRF. Formally presented findings; recommended action plan on suppliers' coatings.

Integrating sphere operation for automotive component luminous flux. Translated optical concepts from Chinese to English.

Music Producer for 10+ years on piano, sax, or with FL Studio on backing tracks/instrumentals. I don't wish to pursue it full-time. It's just a nice hobby I do for fun. I play at small gigs, weddings, and on the street sometimes! Completed exams at Shanghai Conservatory of Music (Classical Alto Saxophone - Grade 4, 7, and 8)End date should be July 2023 but I changed it to move this experience to the end.
