Project management, Electrical engineering design, Material and services procurement, Factory witness testing, and QA for various Receiving, Distributing, and Industrial Station projects.- Prepare project documents which detail project scopes, schedules, and budgets.- Prepare designs, cost estimates, schedules, specifications, recommendations, reports, and Construction Work Packages (CWPs) for the construction, improvement, and repair of Receiving, Distributing, and Industrial Stations.- Coordinate work with various engineering groups and construction forces.- Conduct job site inspections to monitor job progress, job quality, and to resolve technical, schedule, and expenditure issues. Review and approved design changes and field change orders.- Prepare technical specifications for equipment contracts; review, analyze, comment, and approve manufacturer submittals; and conduct factory witness tests for various substation equipment.- Communicate with management, construction forces, architects, engineers, staff, vendors, manufacturers, contractors, and customers.- Represent LADWP in conferences and meetings with other public and private agencies; vendors and manufacturers; and contractors.- Consult with Department personnel, representatives of outside firms, and governmental agencies.
