About Keyarash Jahanian

I am passionate about building products that truly make a difference in the lives of those traditionally overlooked by tech startups. I've done this over the past several years at Beam, a growth startup dedicated to redesigning the safety net by streamlining the delivery of cash and restoring dignity to vulnerable Americans. I've owned roadmaps and built several diverse features that have helped the company achieve 5x growth and disburse $350+ million in emergency aid and cash assistance to financially vulnerable people. Before Beam, I built human-centered solutions that helped financially vulnerable people achieve financial stability while at Commonwealth. This was most evident in my work overseeing the development and implementation of the Workers Strength Fund website, which delivered emergency grants of up to $1,000 to financially vulnerable gig workers.A key theme across all my work is my ability to build empathy for users through human-centered design. I care deeply about ensuring the solutions I build truly meet the needs of end users and do not create unintentional harm. I also make sure the brilliant cross-functional teams I lead share this commitment to the end user so that we are all striving toward the same end goals. I would love to speak with you about my experience and this passion!
