Ms. Monroe's mission is to help individuals and organizations build healthier relationships and strengthen the connection with others by focusing on the one relationship that impacts everything else: the relationship people have with themselves. She teaches extensively on unhealthy behavioral habits rooted in psychological, societal and environmental conditioning, projected in our outer relationships. As the founder of LYF Matters Inc., she helps advocate and educate in support of the safety and rights of survivors. Using her platform to combine a personal narrative, psychological insight, and practical guidance to help others navigate their own journeys of healing and growth. Informing on the ways in which societal conditioning and different forms of trauma can shape our behaviors, our perceptions, and our lives. Keyonna Monroe is also the Founder & Executive Director of the Pretty2Me Foundation. A nonprofit organization that teaches young girls the importance of self-love through LYF (Loving Yourself First). Stemming from her own past experience as a childhood survivor of trafficking/domestic assault, her purpose driven mission is to improve the lives of young girls by providing a series of comprehensive programs that foster self-acceptance, self-love and individual responsibility through social awareness, and enhancing mental stability and emotional wellness. Collaborating companies and institutions including Microsoft, Wells Fargo, Whole Foods, Obama Foundation, NAACP, California Endowment and DOVE and more. She has spoken at national and international conferences, companies, and universities such as Berkeley, Yale, Grace Farms, Pepperdine, NYU, USC, Loyola Marymount, Harvard, and UCLA annually, and is tapped by companies such as California Board of Judges Association, Chase, Mattel, YWCA, Amazon and VyStar Credit Union, Raytheon and Boeing to share her unconventional insights. Keyonna has built and partnered with other organizations to create safe houses and shelters in Ghana, Rwanda, and Uganda as well as locations in Atlanta, GA, Manhattan NY and more.
