Keyur Mistry is an architect based in London whose interests revolve around architecture, design and emergent technologies such as virtual reality, augmented reality and artificial intelligence. He has more than seven years of professional work experience in India, Germany, the UK and the USA. He is currently working as a Senior Designer at Zaha Hadid Architects in London. In 2019, he worked with internationally recognized architect Mark Foster Gage on an invited competition for a Sheraan Desert Resort proposed in Al Ula, Saudi Arabia. He holds a Master of Arts in Architecture degree from Staedelschule Architecture Class, Staedelschule in Frankfurt am Main, Germany with a specialization in Architecture & Aesthetic Practices. In 2018, he co-hosted a virtual reality exhibition with Anokhi Shah at a local café/gallery Café Sugar Mama in Frankfurt, Germany. He was responsible for a lot of the tech support in conceiving the virtual reality experience. He has also worked on various scales of projects from office complexes to private villas at Kleinert und Partner Architekten in Frankfurt.Before going to Frankfurt, he worked with eminent architect Sen Kapadia in Mumbai for almost three years on significant architectural projects in India and abroad. He was one of the two senior architects working on two competition proposals for the New National Gallery & Ludwig Museum in Budapest, Hungary and the Guggenheim Museum in Helsinki, Finland. He was also a project in-charge for several projects in the office. During this period he also played a crucial role in organizing The Architectural Association’s AA Visiting School in Mumbai which taught biomimetic strategies in design to students from various parts of the world.
