Experience involving petroleum refining, petrochemicals, offsites and utilities. Responsibilities have included feasibility phase design, frond-end loading design, and detail engineering design.Refining Experience - Includes process design for a vacuum/crude unit, hydrogen production unit, amine absorber, hydrogen compression unit, hydrocracker, ebullated bed hydrocracker, diesel hydrotreating unit, and delayed coker unit. Upstream/Offshore Experience – Includes process design for a crude stabilization and condensate units. Additional experience includes design of offshore flare and in-field pipeline hydraulics. Chemical Experience – Includes process design for a alcohol products, perchloroethylene, ethylene glycol, and halobutyl rubber plant.Utility/Offsite Experience – Includes design of a flare, steam, boiler feed water, condensate, cooling water, sea water, demin water, waste water, plant air, instrument air and nitrogen system. Additional experience involving design of an offshore marine terminal and storage facilities. Process design work on the above mentioned units including: process simulation modeling, heat and material balances, process flow diagrams, material selection diagrams, piping and instrument diagrams, control philosophy, equipment data sheets, instrument/relief valve data sheets, utility summaries, plot plans and equipment layouts, PHA/HAZOP reviews, vendor bid evaluation, vendor coordination meetings, safety relief system analysis, and process design support for detailed engineering. Along with the above process responsibilities, client interface, gathering of data from the field, and interface with vendors for mechanical equipment.
