I started as an intern at ESSAR Group and gradually worked as the CIO for Essar Ports and Capital businesses and as Head of Information Security for Essar Group. I held many different roles in various verticals, as ESSAR owned several diversified assets across various industries including energy, infrastructure, logistics, metals and mining, as well as technology and retail. Now I am the Head of IT for Prince Pipes and Fittings Ltd., one the largest PVC pipe manufacturers in India and multi-polymer processors with manufacturing units spread across the country. Leading a team of 40 people with a CAPEX of INR 80,000,000 (USD 972K) and an OPEX of INR 120,000,000 (USD 1.45 million). Throughout my career, I am proud to have: ● Trained and collaborated with many cross-functional teams of up to 45 professionals for several months at a time● Delivered projects that saved up to INR 22 million ● Led the Project to consolidate four data centres to a third-party DC during the peak Covid19 lockdown with a team of 45 professionals● Delivered 100+ high-availability Integration, security, and development initiatives● Implemented SAP modules and set up various applications with end-to-end automation for Ports & Capital business● Architected and implemented the layered Cyber Security setup for the Organization and played a vital role in setting up the SOC (Security Operations Centre)● Received more than 45+ honors and awards for Cybersecurity & Technology including several Top 100 CISO & CIO AwardsI am very interested in contributing to my field of expertise.
