Concurrently, because of my curiosity on embedded systems, I started the Symbian programming and after that the Android & iOS programming. Accidentally, I found that “Why don’t we use the MAC address of bluetooth/WiFi interface of passengers mobile phones/vehicle accessories as a unique id to monitor the traffic volume and travel-time estimation between two locations instead of an expensive ALPR vision-based solution?”That was an initial idea to create a product and establish the “Smats” company by my dear friends Amir Hossein and Pouria Ghods.

On 2007, I thought “Now, It’s the time to be an entrepreneur”. So I established the Kavosh company and started to design the industrial machine vision and signal processing solutions in Road and Traffic field. I never forgot the first day in BeenaVision company, when I was a student and was looking at a real industrial camera and thought “Can I capture a real machine vision image and process it in real time?” I did love to become an engineer, although it took at least 3-years to be, but with 16-hours daily works I learnt to design, develop and setup the real machine vision and data processing systems in a harsh industrial field such as railway.
