Manhattan Vehicle Maintenance Facility - Boiler Replacement• Performed a facility condition assessment, initial design, detailed design, and developed construction documents for the replacement of boilers serving a United States Postal Service (USPS) Vehicle Maintenance Facility (VMF). Systems designed: two (2) 300 BHP low pressure steam boilers, steam headers and distribution piping, condensate pumps and return system, boiler feed system, blowdown separator, chemical feed tank and distribution system, combustion air louvers, and a stand-by generator. Queens P&DC - Toilet Room Upgrades• Performed an initial design, detailed design, and developed construction documents for the replacement and upgrade of a USPS mail processing facility. Systems designed: eighteen (18) bathroom groups, exhaust fans and ductwork, hot and cold-water supply, sanitary vent, natural gas fired domestic hot water heater, and hot water storage tanks.

Suez Water - Matchaponix Brook Bridge ReplacementProvided observation services during the reaming and pullback operations for a horizontal directional drill (HDD) installing 800 LF of 20-inch HDPE to serve as a transmission water main. Services provided include written reports documenting; axial thrust, torque, mud pressure, flow rates and rpm, and hydrostatic testing. Monmouth County MN-34 Bridge over the Matchaponix Brook is failing and is due to be replaced. An existing 16-inch water main is attached to the failing bridge supports. The HDD design allows for the water main to be redirected and reinstated with no interruption to Suez Water service. Spectra Energy - AIM Hudson HDDProvided observation services during the intercept, reaming, and pullback operations for a horizontal directional drill (HDD) installing 4900 LF of a 42-inch Steel gas pipeline. Responsibilities included written reports documenting; axial thrust, torque, mud pressure, flow rates and rpm, ect..The Algonquin Incremental Market (AIM) Hudson HDD spans three states; N.J., N.Y., Conn., and Mass, expanding the capacity of the existing Algonquin Gas Transmission system. Freehold Township - Residential Water and Sanitary Sewer InstallationProvided construction inspection services for the installation of approximately 6,000 LF of ductile iron pipe (DIP) water main; 7,000 LF of PVC gravity fed sewer; and observation of a horizontal directional drill (HDD) installation of a 1,400 LF sanitary sewer reach with a design slope of 0.7%. Services include shop drawing reviews, plan reviews, attendance at preconstruction meetings, field inspections, preparation and review of as-built drawings, and documentation of daily construction activities.

JFK RFP Preparation Assistance – Fueling System O & M and Into Plane ServicesPerformed a detailed inventory of all fueling system assets in the Bulk and Satellite Fuel Farms at the airport to develop agreements to be used in the preparation of separate Request for Proposal packages for solicitation of a Fueling System Maintenance and Operations provider and an Into Plane Services provider at JFKIAP. The work included, but was not limited to, the evaluation and inventory of: pipeline characteristics, fuel quality testing facilities, fuel storage tanks, ASTs, USTs, reclaim tanks, sump tanks, oil water separators, tank gauging and monitoring systems, containment dikes, fuel receipt systems, truck loading systems, pumping and filtration systems, fuel distribution systems, pump controls, PLC controls, EFSOs, fire protection systems, contact water treatment facilities, ground service equipment, Avgas facilities, fuel spill handling, electrical distribution systems, emergency generators, site lighting, CCTV, fire alarm systems, site physical conditions and building condition surveys.US Coast Guard at Fort Wadsworth - Unaccompanied Personnel Housing (UPH) HVAC InvestigationAssistance in the study and evaluation of the existing Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems that serve the UPH Building, a multi-story building used primarily for enlisted berthing. The study evaluated each of the existing controls systems that regulate the conditions inside the UPH building including the existing Direct Digital Control/Energy Management Control Systems/Bedroom module thermostats to identify all deficiencies (i.e. connectivity, alarms, set-point, etc.) that may be impacting systems from operating per original design condition and code. Recommendations for repairs to the HVAC system were made.
