Karen is a Certified Pension Consultant (CPC), a Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA), a Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) and has experience in the pension industry since 1974. She also is an Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent (ERPA), which is an IRS designation developed in 2009 specifically for retirement plan third party administrators.Extensive, successful experience in all facets of qualified plan design, consulting and administration. Prior to forming QPA in 1995, managed the retirement plan division for an Augusta area bank trust department for 8 years, and then joined a CPA firm. During the 13 years with the CPA firm, Karen created and managed a department to design and administer qualified plans. Specialties: plan design and administration, consulting with plan sponsors and their advisors, customer relations, marketing and relationship management. QPA administers balance forward plans as well as daily 401(k) plans utilizing our in-house daily system and using platform providers.QPA frequently collaborates with other third party administrators, CPA firms and actuaries to provide daily valuation services to their clients.
