My career can be summarized as 18+ years of building elegant, high-performing software across many industries. You could say it is my passion. I wrote my first paid application while in high school after flying through the class assignment a full week early. After graduating high school, I immediately took on my first full-time programming job. It was a fun challenge that inspired me to hone my craft through self study. I used every resource available to pick up new programming languages and frameworks starting with Delphi, heading into C++, dabbling a bit with PHP, and specializing in C#. Currently, I am writing apps in node.js and iOS apps in Objective C.With every opportunity, I rose through the ranks with hard work and dedication in seeing projects to completion. Employers recognized my ability to design efficient software architectures. Eventually, I became responsible for leading teams of software engineers on large projects. After successfully completing project after project on-time and under budget, I moved into an executive role. Today, I serve as Chief Technology Officer for PropertyRoom.com leading a small, agile team. In addition to my full-time role, I have co-founded two companies (with more on the way) and serve as a technical advisor for a few startups. Outside of technology, I am a huge soccer fan. I coach youth soccer, play indoor, and watch as many matches as I can. My coaching credentials include a US Youth Soccer National Youth License, D License, and NSCAA National Diploma.I look forward to connecting with new people and hearing about new opportunities.
