Kathryn F. Hoxie, known throughout the music world as KFHox, is a singer and songwriter originally hailing from East Greenwich, Rhode Island, eventually making her way to New York, now residing just outside of Nashville. She has been a regular on the New York City live music circuit since she first touched the scene in 2009. She's recorded at Bob Marley's Tuff Gong Studios and House of Hits in Kingston, Jamaica. KFHox has also recorded in the likes of Dee Town Studio, Ruff Ryders, and performed everywhere from The Cutting Room, Webster Hall, The Bitter End, Village Underground, and SOB's, as well as making her debut at 2016's SXSW in Austin, Texas on the DigiWaxx stage at Maggie Mae's. Winner of 2013's "Best Pop Artist" through the Rising Stars Award Show and nominated for "Best Female R&B Artist" through the Underground Music Awards in New York City and the Southern Coalition Movement, KFHox is on an undeniable path to the top, including her most recent inclusion into The Recording Academy as a voting member for The Grammys. Her song, "Daydream" is currently under consideration for Song of the Year & Best Pop Solo Performance for the 59th Annual Grammy Awards. When not performing, she is an avid writer constantly working on a growing catalogue of music. In the spring of 2016, she had the soft launch of her "kfhox" brand, which will be developing fully by the fall, in line with the completion of her self-illustrated children's book based on her song, "Screaming to be Free."
