I am a commercial litigator whose practice includes corporate, securities, competition, banking, insurance defence, telecommunications, professional liability and privacy disputes. I have acted as lead counsel before all levels of court in Ontario and have represented clients before courts in Alberta and British Columbia, numerous administrative boards, tribunals and the Supreme Court of Canada. I have significant class action defence and arbitration experience representing both domestic and multinational clients.My product liability practice includes the defence of class proceedings and individual actions on behalf of clients in the manufacturing, pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors. I also provides regulatory advice to businesses involved in the manufacturing, importation, supply and sale of food and consumer products, including in matters of regulatory compliance, product claims, labelling, ESG risk and best practices, product recalls and risk management.I have previously served as an adjunct professor at Queen's University, Faculty of Law where I taught trial advocacy for several years.I was called to the Ontario Bar in 2009. I received my BA (Hons.), with high distinction, from the University of Toronto, Trinity College in 2005; a Master’s of Public Administration from Queen’s University in 2006; and a J.D. from Queen’s University in 2008.
