CurrentManage the process to keep all new and legacy product technical documentation up-to-date. Plan, organize, and prepare technical manuals, marketing collateral, and other technical print or electronic communication materials for distribution to customers; maintain technical documents, control revision changes, and ensure technical material is presented in common language. Key Responsibilities:• Manage the process of gathering product information for documentation needs by working closely with internal customers/subject matter experts. This includes writing and editing any content provided and following a review process to make sure that the best documentation is provided.• Serve as subject matter expert for documentation needs—coordinate the creation and completion of operation/service manuals and other pertinent communication material.• Coordinate document controls with subject matter experts, and revisions to ensure conformance with engineering changes, quality and compliance standards, and other detail.• Develop new documentation solutions to meet changing needs of the company and customers.• Prioritize deadlines and documentation releases.• Maintain brand standards in accordance with respect to order, style, terminology, and sequencing.• Ensure documentation is provided in the most usable format for the user.• Select layout, graphics, drawings, tables, illustrations, or charts to amplify or clarify publication objectives.• Help plan and implement overall corporate communications strategy—assist with corporate communications and marketing materials as required, especially in editing content.
