I work with kids who have, Autism, PDD,CP, MR, OCD, ADD, ADHD, GAD, ODD, NF,Downs, Digeroge syndrome, Physically handicapped, Speech impaired, and Nonverbal. I do ABA Therapy, Discrete Child, Pecs ,some ASL, and Social stories. The goal is to work with our child to obtain and express some kind of communication. The special needs children are intergraded into the classroom to work in the same room as their grade level peers. Depending upon the child and their success rate they are able to maintain the same schedule as their peers. Some children go to another classroom for more adaptive learning suitable for their needs.
