• Produces reports to CMOP management, local committees, host sites, and the National CMOP Program to support exceptional organizational performance. Uses basic quality and analytical techniques to process internal and external data and make recommendations for improvement. • Develops and maintains a knowledge of databases and the pertinent CMOP local and central databases. • Works with established systems to effectively extract, analyze, store, and trend data and provide reports to management in a timely manner. • Develops and maintains a working knowledge of data activity logs. Utilizes understanding of logs and associated data elements to effectively investigate CMOP prescription order tracking from order receipt to order completion and mailing. • Effectively utilizes standard office applications and creative skills or specialized experience to transform data into meaningful information as required by administrative, professional, and technical staff and other stakeholders. • Assists in investigation of errors reported through the National CMOP Web Application, telephone reports from host sites, and internal error reporting systems. • Uses established systems for monitoring internal and external error data for trends. • Assists in preparing local, national quality assurance reports on a scheduled or ad hoc basis. Produces reports for CMOP management which provide identification of trends in order to optimize medication dispensing safety. • Participates in activities designed to identify and investigate opportunities to improve patient safety and supports implementation of actions as required. • Participates in formal patient safety initiatives including, but not limited to Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Healthcare Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (HFMEA).

Responsibilities include the planning, design and ongoing management of the CMOP Quality Assurance and regulatory/accreditation programs. Ensure survey readiness for regulatory and accreditation organizations such as JCAHO. Interact and coordinates with technical support to ensure compliance with regulations, policies, accreditation standards, and sound practices of patient safety. Must be able to monitor, investigate and review errors identified by the CMOP staff or the medical facilities. I also act as a Pharmacist Liaison to interface between CMOP and Customers which involves helping the sites locate packages, cancel prescriptions or solve any other problems that may arise. I am also required to be Acting Pharmacy Director when needed. Responsible for updating and maintaining the Patient Medication Information databases.

Responsibilities include overseeing technical operation, solving logistical problems in hardware and software, improving software and workflow issues, interaction with "remote site" hospital personnel to resolve problems and questions. Also had the opportunity to be involved from the inception of this project, which offered opportunity for input and changes to improve the facility both from production and QA perspectives.
