When people ask me if I love my job I tell them: What’s not to love? Every day I go to work at a company who delivers -World class software solutions for the Men and Women who serve in the armed forces.I love the fact that there are never two days alike and that I have an employer who would rather see me evolve and leave, than have me stay and be stuck.(And it doesn’t hurt to know you have great co-workers -and that I help deliver world class software, for those who need help at critical decision making)

During my studies on Aalborg University’s Department of Interactive Digital Media, I have worked on several scientific case studies as well as cases done in collaboration with some of Denmark’s largest companies, such as Vestas Wind Systems a/s. For my scientific case studies I have been working on home entertainment and teaching, and how this is perceived. For instance: How is your mood when playing video games, how easily are you distracted? What would it take for you to engage more in a given activity? And what way is the easiest to convince consumers to buy more of that product? Well that’s just a fragment of what I have been working with on my scientific case studies.Now what have I been doing else for those three years? You might ask. Well I have done several courses on management and strategic development on Digital Media. And as of such I know: Scrum, Kanban and Lean. I am a firm user of Pivotal tracker and I know the “do’s” and “dont’s” of project managing. In fact I have even had a chance to try off my Project management skills, as I was accepted and graduated from DADIU’s project management course. An elite study accepting just six students per year worldwide. I graduated this 4 month course after having managed a team of 22 people, passing with a grade summary of 3 x 12 (highest possible). The final product was even nominated for the Dutch “Guts and glory” award, and an “entrant” at the IGF/GDC 2012 student competition in San Francisco CA.

Aalborg

During my studies on Aalborg University’s department of Humanistisk informatik (Human informatics), I have done several case studies with (and on) small and large businesses in Denmark e.g. Coca Cola, Danfoss, Aalborg Industries, and Wagner / Tøjeksperten. I have mainly worked with, how end users of different products perceive the product and use it. As of such I have great analytical skills and I understand the demand of a consumer… “There is no dumb user, just poorly designed products”… one of the major traits I noticed and still find relevant.

Stofa Aalborg

At Stofa Aalborg I worked in a small taskforce consisting of 5-10 student employees that worked together with 10 full time employees, handling about 50.000 customers.On average the job would be 60% handling "up front" customer’s e.g. general enquiries on Stofas products, billing and technical information and 40% handling administrative functions, including; researching the whereabouts of missing clients, working on improvements for Stofas product range and managing the booking of technicians for current and new clients of Stofa.Due to the "relatively" small team size my job functions were many, which required quick adaption to new situations, and being very agile!All in all Stofa taught me, that small and flexible teams work great, and that they accomplish a lot, it gives a greater sense of responsibilit.

Aalborg

During the transition period in merging Sonofon and Cybercity into Telenor, I took part in a Help Desk group set to help with a new IT –System. My main function was to oversee the transition and help co-workers learn the new system.

Hadsund, Hobro And Øster Hurup

At home Real estate I handled customers, appointments, bookings, IT (local) and did presentations of subjects. I began early handing out flyers, and progressed to working in the office training new student employees and managing our branch offices. As a front desk figure, I learned how to handle and read the needs of every client, finding the property that was just right for that person. This is something I have carried on doing in other aspects of my work life, and by today I am still uncompromised in everything I do.Never settle for less than Perfect…

Hadsund

At the Scandinavien Oil Company I worked as the District Sales Manager of Himmerland South and Daily Manager of a Service Station located in Hadsund Denmark. My tasks as Daily Manager were to manage a team of 8 employees, working at a service station. This included: Managing work hours, buying products, doing salary and all other thinkable functions in relation to having a small business.As District Sales Manager I handled B2B relations including fuel deliveries to agricultural businesses, taxi services and even fuel for minor planes.
