As an associate professor of Digital Entrepreneurship and Technological Innovation, and the Head of the Technology Transfer Office at the University of Macedonia in Greece, I have been at the forefront of fostering innovation and driving economic growth through entrepreneurial ventures. With years of experience as a start-up entrepreneur in digital and service ventures, I understand the challenges and opportunities of building and growing successful businesses. As an angel investor and advisor in many incubators, I have invested in or supported over 200 startups, offering guidance and mentorship to help them achieve success. I have also provided consulting services to both the public and private sectors, leveraging my expertise in digital innovation and entrepreneurship to drive change and create value. My consulting experience in digital transformation for the private sector has allowed me to help numerous organizations adapt to the rapidly-evolving digital landscape, leveraging technology to optimize their operations and improve their bottom line.In addition, my research has been published in more than 60 international peer-reviewed journals and conferences, providing insights into the latest trends and best practices in digital entrepreneurship and technological innovation. I have participated in more than 30 digital entrepreneurship and digital innovation EU-funded projects, which have allowed me to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the field. With my experience as a member of various entrepreneurial competition evaluation committees, I possess a keen eye for identifying promising ideas and nurturing them into successful businesses. My focus on developing a comprehensive strategy for the regional innovation ecosystem has resulted in improvements in the entrepreneurial landscape, empowering young professionals to turn their innovative visions into reality.
