Project: “Novel, Comprehensible, Ultra-Fast, Security-Aware CPS Simulator” (COSSIM), H2020 EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (H2020-ICT-2014-1 call). Focused on the design and implementation of a novel, comprehensible, ultra-fast, security-aware Cyber-Physical System simulator.Responsible for auditing the simulator’s supported security mechanisms and advising on their implementation approach.

Project: ENTOMATIC, FP7 EU project (FP7-SME-2013 call). Focused on the development of a novel embedded platform as an automatic and standalone pest management tool with remote count and bioacoustic identification. Developed the embedded software, the associated backend monitoring platform and their secure communication and data storage. Consulting on embedded hardware specifications. Responsible for various administrative & project management tasks, writing and submitting deliverables, and attending project meetings.

Responsible for teaching classes/labs of the "Information Systems Security", "Network Security", “Operating Systems” and “Artificial Intelligence And Expert Systems” postgraduate and undergraduate modules. Production of course material, presentations, weekly assignments and projects. Theses supervision on Information Security topics.

Project: "new embedded Systems arcHItecturE for multi-Layer Dependable solutions” (nSHIELD), FP7 EU project (ARTEMIS-2010-1 call). Focused on the research of SPD (Security, Privacy, Dependability) in the context of Embedded Systems.Developed various prototypes/technologies for embedded devices and wireless sensors (Anonymity & Location Privacy, lightweight access control mechanisms, use of Service Oriented Architectures for seamless machine-to-machine interactions, GPGPU programming, application of lightweight ciphers, wireless sensors etc.). Demonstrators’ setup and presentations at review meetings. Various administrative & project management tasks, deliverables, project meetings.
