ChefSteps produces high quality written and video content to support Joule, an app-connected immersion circulator used for cooking. Joining ChefSteps I took on a really different role with the data team.I worked on data engineering projects like fixing integrity issues and building the dashboard the company uses to track its sales and channel effectiveness.I did a lot of ad-hoc analysis ranging from helping content production decisions to financial projections. I helped the content and marketing teams evaluate the success of their work and predict the impact of upcoming projects.I was also responsible for the company's efforts in SEO, making a number of changes that had a positive impact on traffic and sales.

Kitchenbowl is a social community for cooking enthusiasts to share & discover recipes. I was the first employee so wore a bunch of different hats preparing the app for a launch that landed us at the top of featured apps.

Yammer is the leader in Enterprise Social Networking. The company was founded by David Sacks in 2007 and acquired by Microsoft in 2012 for 1.2 billion. I was part of the Yammer North project, a team dedicated to learning how Yammer works and help transform how Microsoft works from the inside out.In that role I:* Led large cross-functional teams on a wide variety of projects ranging from incoming email to the mobile new user experience.* Performed data analyses to understand the impact of multivariate (A/B) tests on core KPI.* Launched an internal learning initiative to help our team stay in touch with competitors and industry trends.* Performed a systematic review of the onboarding experience, identifying several areas for improvement that were implemented after I left the company
