About Kiril Genov
My professional experience includes 20+ years of development the Microsoft Technology Stack. Back in the good old days I was deeply involved in the design, architecture and implementation of content management sites based on Microsoft Content Management Server (MCMS 2002). Later on, as technologies evolved and SharePoint became the next big thing, I took the uncertain road to become a SharePoint developer. Many successful projects followed shortly, based on ASP.NET Web Forms/MVC and integrations with ERP systems like Dynamics GP, NAV, CRM, etc.In 2014 I founded my company BasicPoint Software Ltd. As the lead developer in the company I gathered a team of highly professional and dedicated programmers around me. We are currently focused on custom solutions in Office 356 and MS Dynamics area. As a freelancer my major field of activity is ASP.NET and SharePoint/Office 365 development. I've architect and developed from scratch products based on SharePoint platform. These products intend to solve complex business processes and workflows. Such processes are management of internal and external employee profiles, document exchange, management and approval, requests for content changes, problem reporting and resolution workflows. A highly customizable security approach was introduced to manage the access and visibility of entities and content during each stage of the fore-mentioned workflows and processes.Some other products I was asked to develop are stand-alone modules which solve daily SharePoint administration tasks, like user account management, permissions and alerts management. I've also implemented software for business process overview and task management. Integration of external systems with SharePoint sites is also an area of my activities.

As a senior .Net developer I developed many content management web sites based on MCMS 2002 and ASP.NET sites based on MS SQL Server databases. One of my major activities was to develop the international set of sites of Actavis, a global pharmaceutical company.For more than one year I was involved in the long-term project NETQBS. It was a custom content management web application, developed by the Icelandic company Eskill. For an year I also took part in the development of the Negometrix project, which is a web-based e-procurement platform owned by the Dutch company Negometrix.At BSH Ltd. I had the opportunity to work close with its very experienced design team. This helped me to gain a lot of knowledge about the way the UI and functionality of modern web sites needs to be developed and presented.
