Cyber Safety Consulting (CSC) is a premier internet safety organization, working with schools, families and companies to educate on the dangers of the digital world and how we can foster more effective dialog with our children regarding technology. The goal of Cyber Safety Consulting is to ultimately keep our children safe online and be a catalyst to raising digitally responsibly independent individuals. As Advisor to the company, I work in tandem with leadership to develop communication strategies and create content, stay informed on highly-relevant news items and technology developments, be educated on state laws related to sexting and other student behavioral technology topics, media outreach, and business development.

U.S. Cyber Challenge (USCC) is a program supported by the Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate through a contract with the Center for Internet Security, a 501(c)3 organization, and has the mission to significantly reduce the shortage in the cyber workforce by serving as the premier program to identify, attract, recruit and place the next generation of cybersecurity professionals. We specifically work with organizations and programs including US Cyber Challenge, the Center for Internet Security, the Council on CyberSecurity and CyberCompEx.

As Project Manager at Sherman Consulting, I worked collectively with company executives to offer business strategy and communications consulting to a variety of client businesses. My work included regularly meeting with those in the client C-suite to propose and brainstorm new ideas for their line of business and new branches of development; collaborate with a team of strategists, managers and artists to compose marketing material for clients while developing a cohesive strategy for implementation; serve as senior editor in the company - reviewing both written and visual pieces created for client branding and marketing operations; developing and implementing public relations strategies for clients; and advising clients regarding online marketing campaigns and communications efforts incorporating website development and aesthetics, email communications, social media integration, blogging and digital media advertising.

Served as the Director of Marketing and Public Relations for the inaugural year of the Chicago Machine - Chicago's first professional men's lacrosse team. The Chicago Machine is a franchise of Major League Lacrosse.During my time with the Chicago Machine, I laid the public relations and marketing groundwork for the premier professional men’s lacrosse team in Chicago; strategized a grass-roots effort to reach lacrosse enthusiasts in the community; worked directly with ownership to translate their aspirations into the strategic work of the organization; designed and created content for the weekly printed game day bulletin; managed logistics while traveling to all away games with the team as well as collaborating with the host team public relations and marketing staff; worked closely with the Webmaster of the team website to manage all online content; managed all press box activities, facilitating media representatives and assisting in television broadcast operations; collaborated with an outside advertising firm to create and place advertising; initiated consistent communication with the league’s Marketing Director to implement good practices and explore new possibilities as it related to public relations and marketing.Major League Lacrosse began play in 2001, to capitalize on the growing demand for world-class field lacrosse driven by dramatic growth in the U.S. lacrosse market. The MLL was praised and heralded for its on-field play, regarded as the best ever seen. With a year-on-year attendance increase, Major League Lacrosse has continued to lead the sport of lacrosse into the mainstream of competitive team sports.
