As group Technical Lead. I fufil a wide role across the Blue Box Group. Acting as a Escalation point for Technical queries across the group. Serving customers from all sectors of Education and SME.I also have an active role in our first and 2nd line Helpdesk team in a supervisory role. Ensuring ticket queues are handled effectively and to meet SLA'sI also have responsibility in the development and deployment of new technologies in a varied array of testing and production environments. I also maintain a number of sites actively supported at a 2nd line level and developed as a partial continuation of my role with the company. Providing 2nd and 3rd Line support to 3 secondary school sites primarily, with additional support or project implementation as required across the companies entire range of primary and secondary sites. In addition to standard windows server support (AD, GPO, DHCP, DNS) This has included VMware support and administration. Administration of ADFS installations and the accompanying Office 365 Installation. Management of backup systems including Veeam and DPM 2012. Management of sites SCCM 2012 deployments and site infrastructure. Also work with AV products like Sophos and Firewalls and web filters such as Smoothwall, Rocket & Netsweeper. I've also taken up accreditation as a Vmware Technical Solutions Professional (VTSP) and started progress towards a CCNA with an extended apprenticeship.

User support across all levels for the users on site. Regular tasks include but are not limited to maintenance of User Administration, Group Policy Management, Software Installation, Production of system documentation, Management and maintenance of backups, Hardware client support, Hardware Server support, Project management, MS Exchange management and ensuring the security of the infrastructure Project work has included: Domain design and implementation as part of a team, Server Installation and mainteance, Work with leading line MIS systems (SIMS & Serco Facility), Work with and management of SQL databases, Management and maintenance of MS Exchange, Installation Technologies (SCCM,MDT, SMS,Numara), Implementation of ITIL Helpdesks. Other work undertaken: Training of Staff (MIS products and MS Suites), Support of students in lessons. Creation of various multimedia works for uses (Digital backdrops for stage productions, Music Editing) I've also as recently taking part in some Domain design and implementation including but not limited to Active Directory Design, Exchange 2013 implementation and configuration, Virtual Server environment using Hyper-V and other tasks associated with a domain implementation. I've become involved with creative work throughout the school including work with a wide range of adobe applications including Flash,Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. These have included creating print media for use in and outside of the School.Most recently I have applied these skills across a second separate site providing the same level of support for a doubled user base. This has brought me in touch with several new software applications and working methodologies.

I was responsible for the development and administration of the Colleges VLE at the time. During this time I implemented several visual style changes and tried encourage use in the VLE. Most of the work here was completed either in a small team or alone. Left due to the end of a temporary contract
