Designs a Quality Management System (QMS) for a Steel Manufacturing Organiation, which is aligned to the Quality Policy of the Company. Ensures that the Policy is implemented through systems and processes.Takes overall responsibility of Inspection and Quality Assurance of all raw materials and in-process & finished products. Plan systems to ensure that the Quality control measures are effective with respect to the requirement of quality norms of the finished product.Interact with Key Customers as a Confidence building measure and for long term relationship between the Customers and the Organization. Meet new customers along with marketing representatives to explain the properties of the products and their advantages for advancement of business relationship. Analyze, through interaction with the Industry in potential sectors and potential markets, the requirements and expectations of the Customers so that New Products and offerings could be developed to meet the expectations.Plant and Product Approvals.Contribute towards planning cost-saving activities and Encourage Cost saving initiatives.Conduct benchmarking studies of leading steel majors in order to identify and implement relevant best practices.
