As part of Motivo Labs I was developing Agent-Based Model Simulation and Data Analysis Applications. Our main products were Cross-Platform Desktop Applications written in Java. We also worked on some smaller web-based projects.For a big part of my stay in Motivo I was a lead of a small team (3-4 people). My team was responsible for enhancing our simulation software solutions and making them easier to use. I worked in close collaboration with our biggest client and discussed requirements with them and the other team members. I was the initiator and driver behind our transition to an agile software process. Personally and as part of the team I implemented a lot of simulation features, UI changes, integrated our main product with client data, developed a solution for automatic analysis and calibration of simulation model data, created new simulation reports and many more.

I was responsible for Development of Network Element Interfaces used for connection between various communication devices (Nokia, Ericsson, Huawei and others) and Comptel’s Dynamic OSS solutions. I also worked on implementing business logic for telecoms. Part of my responsibilities were also to help other team members. Work in Comptel consisted of semi-independent small projects for one to three developers, so I was usually engaged not only in coding, but also documentation, testing and customer communication.For that we used Java, but I also had to learn Expect, Tcl, Perl and increase my knowledge in Databases and Regular Expressions.

For most of my stay in Bianor, I was part of a team developing client–server applications for monitoring, configuration and communication with remote KVM devices. During the last year and a half I was part of a team that started working for Comptel. Our team quickly grew in size and we were eventually transferred in Comptel when they opened their new office in Bulgaria.
