About Katrina Good

I am a PhD candidate in Biochemistry at the University of Victoria. The overall goal of my research is to reveal novel mechanisms by which an important brain protein is regulated in healthy and diseased states. My technical skills include immunodetection, biochemical and biophysical separation of cellular components, RNA handling, and PCR. Otherwise, I enjoy condensing complex information into comprehensible fragments to young or non-scientific audiences.
