Zesati was one of the first companies to develop and sell a sophisticated J2EE based business process management (BPM) solution. Designed the product from ground up with a vision to provide completely web-based collaborative design solutions. After a pivot we ended up with a collaborative process management and application development framework that helped companies develop and deploy process based applications in less than 2 weeks. Many organizations used the solution as a process and collaboration layer on top of SAP ERP.About 30,000 people in a few large multinational companies continue to use the system today. These types of solutions I think are now called composite application development platforms.
