ASD, Inc. is a multi-disciplinary design firm offering interiors, architectural and graphic design services to a variety of corporate, financial, restaurant & hospitality, retail, medical and institutional clients. As an administrative assistant I work one on one with architects and interior designers on various projects, including test fit modifications in AutoCAD 2013, Revit 2013 projects, preparing bid documents, specification writing, RCP wattage calculations, presentation preparation, scheduling and travel.

DRTC Studio is a full service interior design firm as well as retail space. I was one of three designers including the owner, Willis Watts, who work closely together on a daily basis to provide the best design solution for each client. I assisted on selections ranging from paint colors, lighting, flooring options, furniture selections and accessories. I was often required to use my AutoCAD skills to create 3D floor plans as well as custom furniture and lighting for cleints.

James W. Buckley & Associates is an in house civil engineering, architecture, landscape architecture and interior design firm focusing on the construction of government buildings ranging from court houses to schools. While I was interning I worked on a bank that was completed and the beginning phases of an elementary school. My biggest accomplishment during my time there was to be able to travel to a school district in North Georgia and present my design for a fun and colorful elementary school. The meeting was a success and I was proud to add the design to my portfolio.
