During this experience, I collaborated with others to watch over different groups of girls and learned to lead a large group of people. Each day, the girls would need to follow a different schedule according to the day of the week. As counselors, we planned activities that would be safe and enjoyable for kids of various age groups. We were to keep the girls engaged and participate in games/crafts with them. In addition to the typical schedule, there were a set of people who would attend field trips with the girls who had signed up and paid for such events, which required more attention. I gained a diverse understanding of different groups and personalities. I learned to handle unexpected outcomes as well.

wordnerdmemoir.com is a website that is no longer available. It was a non-profit website made intending to help people complete their story-based games with the best outcome. I wrote reviews for different characters and tutorials for a variety of games using a template that introduced me to some basic HTML and CSS. I wrote announcements for the website that would end up on the social media platforms (Twitter and Facebook). In addition to writing announcements, I was a social media manager for the Facebook account and forum page. While in the position, actions on the page increased by 1100% and post engagement by 2413%. Page views boosted by 229% and people reached 100 times more peopleOther than writing, I helped to plan out different features for the website and contributed to banner designs. The banners would change according to the season and holidays, so I worked with the owner of the site to choose photos that would create a fitting banner. As the website grew, there were other features that were added and a Patreon was made. I provided different ideas for those.
