I grew up wanting to be a world famous writer. The next J.K. Rowling. I still have that dream, but when I'm not imagining ludicrous plot twists and nail-biting cliffhangers, you'll find me somewhere making administrative changes and innovating old processes. I have a bit of a knack for giving old and dusty admin jobs a makeover. In my first two years at Riley Neurology, I created the Referral Specialist position for my department. In August 2022 I was promoted to Lead of the Pediatric Neurology Communications team where I am currently giving the entire training process a ~revamp~. Like I said, I've got a bit of a knack for these things. I'm good at finding the weak points, looking for a way to reinforce them and, if necessary, I'm never afraid of throwing out the old, tired process and making an entirely new one. That is the kind of work I LIKE to do and hope to continue doing. So far, it's been a fun ride. And I'm excited to see where my future goes!
