I've always been passionate about writing. As a child, I wrote about the most exciting happenings of a 7-year old. - My sister took my Barbie doll, again!- My mum made her delicious Kuih Cara (the sweet version, of course)- Falling down while riding the bicycle around the neighbourhoodAs a teenager, I expanded my writing skills to navigate the trials and tribulations of teenage-dom. - My experiences as a competitive junior golfer in the Malaysian sports circuit- Why is Math so hard?? (This is still a thing but we've made significant improvements)- Why is high school so dramatic and what are these big feelings?As a university student, I learned to use my critical thinking skills and write thought-provoking papers about society, culture, and the rapidly changing digital world. - Usman Awang's Poetry and its Reflection on the Social Tensions of a Pre-independence Malaya- The Sociology of Race and Ethnicity- The Power of Ideologies as a Tool of DominationNow, as a budding PR executive, I write for my clients, from press materials to crafting creative campaigns and integrated communication strategies. With a keen interest in diversifying my skill set, I service lifestyle, tech, and pharma accounts. My main interest and speciality lie in financial services and corporate accounts. It's interesting to look back at how a simple hobby as a child writing in my diary has helped me as an adult to continue creating successful pieces of work by simply articulating my thoughts and seeing the world change around me.
