I also work on regulatory matters involving U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) within the international trade practice. My customs matters have included advising clients on the classification and regulation of imports; advising clients on changes potential changes to dutiable goods under bilateral and multilateral agreements such as TPP and NAFTA; advising clients on trademark recordations with CBP; and advising clients on the creation of special Customs allowances, such as Foreign Trade Zones; good classification; etc.Finally, I practice in the firm’s Africa Initiative.
