I am an elementary school teacher with certifications in B.Sc. Accounting, Post Graduate Diploma in Education and I am currently pursuing NYS Teacher Certification in Students with Disabilities Generalist (Grades 1-6) in District 75. I have worked with elementary school aged students for about 8 years in Lagos, Nigeria and currently working as a Substitute Teacher in New York City Public School for about a year. I have succeeded in restoring hope, optimism and resiliency in the students I taught as I had worked extensively with students below grade level to attain grade level by the end of the academic year. Over the years, I have maintained a very healthy relationship among my students and their parents by working closely with parents to meet the students' needs. I am a hardworking and patient individual whose main interest is ensuring success for my students. I am a fast learner who takes initiative, and I constantly strive to enrich my professional development by collaborating with other teachers.
