About Khadijeh Miarabbas Kiani

I am a Senior Photonic Engineer in Laser Team at Ranovus Inc based in Ottawa. My major engagement at the company is in design, fabrication and characterization of Quantum lasers for high speed communication on III-V and Si-on-Insulator platform; as well as designing laser modules and Optical transceiver module and co-packaged switch assembly for high speed electro-optic switching platforms.I pursued my PhD from the photonics group at McMaster University focused on the design, fabrication and characterization of on-chip silicon integrated photonic devices to develop the next generation of micro and nano-devices to overcome the data-hungry future and to open the new attractive transmission window for optical communications, particularly in fabrication of waveguide amplifiers and lasers.
