• Integrating environment and climate interventions in country projects/programs in Asia and the Pacific Region (APR).
• Mobilizing supplementary funds and management of the climate finance portfolio in APR.
• Mainstreaming of climate finance for APR portfolio and coordination of mainstreaming themes
• Supervision and implementation support to climate and environment focused projects, as required in APR.
• Support IFAD country strategies and project concept notes development and design as a technical expert in integrating climate and alignment with climate finance priorities.
• Contribute to ECG technical papers and non-lending activities related to climate risk assessment and climate services.

Kathmandu

• Engage in new project designs as an Environment and Climate Change Specialist to work on Social, Environmental and Climate Assessment Procedure (SECAP);
• Support Nepal, Bhutan, and Cambodia IFAD country programs on project design, implementation and supervision missions, midterm review, project completion, and technically support on quality project implementation;
• Support projects with Monitoring & Evaluation and Knowledge Management and also integrating Climate Change measures in the implementation of activities on the ground; and
• Support Project Management Offices on project management.
