This is the legal firm I founded with Cik Suhaila in the year 2000. Along the way we partnered with different people with change of names but we are the two constant founding partners who are still running it. As I am currently into my 21st year as a lawyer and 20th year as a business owner, I have great insight into this very competitive business in Malaysia. We have always believe in human resource and technology to be the way of the future for legal business. We have invested in ourselves by upgrading our knowledge and we have installed a legal management software in our office to get ahead. We are always looking for new blood to train and eventually take over this legal firm with great network of clients and panels.We have also invested back our profit into the business in order for us to use them in the future. As we are small, we are still personal with our clients. All that a client has to do is to dial our own personal mobile number to get in touch with us. This is important as we believe, the greatest asset a lawyer can have is him/herself.

As a notary public, I am able to witness and attest documents to be admitted into court in other countries or for official use. In Malaysia, it is equivalent to a Commissioner for Oath who witness documents for submission in Malaysian courts, among others.

Both are published and distributed by Azizi Ali's True Wealth Sdn Bhd. The sequel is '40 More Questions You Should Ask Your Lawyer Before Buying A Residential Property In Malaysia'​ was published in 2013 and the Bahasa Malaysia equivalent is also available. '40 Questions You Should Ask Your Lawyer Before Taking A Housing Loan' was published in 2014 and soon after the Bahasa Malaysia version was published. These books are from the experience of being a property lawyer, property investor, professional business owner and an avid social media user.I am also a fiction writer with 2 Bahasa Malaysia books called Pinjam (2014) - 8 reprints and Pentas (2015) - 4 reprints, under the imprint Fixi, a well-known independent publisher in Malaysia and a few short stories with them such as Lost in Putrajaya (2014), IMF2014 (free ebook), Cukaria (2017) and 2020 Anthology (2020)I also have books with Dubook Press, an imprint which published my non-fiction - Harta Rampasan Perang (2015), Malaysia DiLanggar Singapura (2016) and in 2017 they published my bestseller of all - Hari-Hari Terakhir Seorang YB

As a lawyer and a business, I realised the need to always increase my knowledge in new emerging market such as Islamic finance. As a trained syarie lawyer, who practice for 2 years, I understand the separation of power between syariah and conventional law in Malaysia. As a lawyer who is well-verse in commercial and banking transaction, I need a bridge to connect these two together.Taking another degree is not just important to increase knowledge but is also a survival method to get ahead in business. As the institution is new, the people there and its students are captains of the industry. Networking can even be forged while you study there.In my final league of my course, I am exempted for Part 3 but still need to send in my final evaluation paper to show the relevance between the legal industry in Malaysia and Islamic finance, which is not that hard as the news of how lawyers dealt with it made headline every other month.I have finally graduated in 23rd October 2010 and will use this certification to contribute to the Malaysian emerging Islamic financial landscape...

I have two blogs. One is Legal Cat-asthrophe and the other is As Good As It Gets. The former is a business blog about law, property, intellectual property and Islamic finance, matter relater to my professions. The latter is a personal blogs infused with relationship, events and sometimes movie reviews.I am also consulted by various bloggers or blog companies to advice them and strategise with them on development of blogging business either as lawyer or as a blogger and occasionally as an avid social media practitioner. My knowledge on intellectual property helps a lot.

I am acting as one of the council member consulted on real estate, legal matters, Islamic finance and intellectual property specifically in Malaysia but sometimes extend to Asean and even Asia

As the independent non-executive director of this listed entity since the day it become public until now, I sit in its Audit Committee, Remuneration Committee other than its Board of Directors. I am responsible to ensure the company's management kept to all the listing requirements as it is issued by the Securities Commission of Malaysia and Bursa Malaysia.As this company is a small family company which is run by the the founder with a good succession plan with the son and daughter-in-law on the Board of Director, I have to ensure the management is always on their toes on the current issues on management. As a lawyer and also as a business owner, I use my experience to help the company to be vigilant and to provide insights on how to chart their way through this competitive business while playing by the rule.
