My long term goal is to make an imprint on the management of the environment, locally, regionally or globally. Through my career now as an educator, my aim is to spread the relevance of understanding the relationship between human and environment. This builds on my academic experience which involved exploring environment and development policies. This culminates in my Honours research (pending publication in an academic journal), analyzing the viability of Singapore environmental laws and policies in substituting a legislated need for environmental assessments of proposed development projects.My graduate program in King's College subsequently focuses on the tools for environmental management, i.e. Remote Sensing, Environmental Modelling and GIS. These skills are then applied during my GIS traineeship in a Danish environmental consultancy firm, DHI.Throughout this process, I've lived in Australia and London, and spent summer programs in Thailand.
