Engineering Coordinator
As part of the Engineering Technical Services team, my roles are:1. Assist the Engineering Manager and the VP of Engineering & Projects in developing various multi-million dollar (>300 US$) power plant projects.2. Assist the Engineering Manager in solving the various engineering problems such as the complex design of power generation for Smelter, LNGC-FSRU interface, subsea and onshore pipeline design, designing an LNG Storage & Regasification Terminal in a challenging location.3. Subject matter expert of asset integrity, maintenance strategy, and failure investigation in the operating power plants (CCPP, Geothermal, and CFPP).5. Support the renewable energy team in developing one of the biggest PV project in Indonesia.
Subsea Materials & Corrosion Engineer
Working remotely from Jakarta, Indonesia supporting the Corrib’s Subsea and Gas Terminal facilities in the Republic of Ireland and several Wells in the Netherlands. I worked with people located in Ireland, Scotland, and the Netherlands during this job with the main tasks:1. Update the Asset Integrity Management Strategy2. Extend the operating life of subsea pipeline by the remaining life assessment calculation.3. Author of the Vermilion Energy Ireland – Risk Based Assessment Manual and Corrosion Under Insulation Guideline.4. Subject Matter Expert on the failure investigation of seawater injection well tubing and H2S testing of 13 Cr tubing in Netherlands.
Materials & Corrosion Engineer
I was assigned to various assets to ensure the safety and integrity of the operation, with main tasks:1. Corrosion Management Framework (CMF): Own and monitor the overall condition of the assets with rev where the KPI of the CMF is provided to the Asset, so the latest condition of the asset integrity is monitored and maintained to ensure the safe and steady operation and also met the Goal Zero objective. As a result, these assets have the availability of more than 95% and the reliability of more than 97% throughout the year.2. Integrity Operating Window (IOW): Ensure and monitor all criteria of barriers to mitigate corrosion are correct and equipment is working within the allowable operating limit to achieve Zero leaks and minimum downtime. I worked together with different disciplines: Process, Operations, Production Chemistry, and Pipeline to ensure that the criteria in the IOW are met.3. Responsible for a total of 26 pipelines (onshore and offshore) that connect various assets (Shell & non-Shell) from the UK and Norway to Shell's gas terminal and NGL plant. The main responsibility is to ensure the safety and integrity of these pipelines and also to check and negotiate any changes in operating conditions with other operators.4. Provide material selection expertise for brownfield and greenfield subsea pipeline and topside system. Operating conditions including sour service and high mercury content.5. HYDROCORR modeling for pipeline and piping to predict the corrosion rate under different operating conditions. I also did Erosion modeling using SPPS mainly for topside piping and tubes.6. Supervised and liaised with Fabric Inspector on fabric inspection, determining remediation actions and provide engineering decisions on types of surface preparation, coatings, insulations and cladding.
