• Assist in compliance reviews, general risk assessments and other safety assessmentsto support Health, Safety and Environmental management. Continual surveillance of theyard, workshops, rigs, installations & other potentially hazardous areas that requireindustrial safety precautions & ensure that all necessary safety equipment's & safetysigns are in place throughout work sites.• Conducting site safety orientation and advising all project personnel andsubcontractors regarding safe working practices and to develop safety consciousness.• Provide support to Project and Operation team in all aspects of safety, occupationalhealth, safety and environmental issues.• Participating and Conduct investigations for incidents and accidents occurring in theplant and report findings to the management.• Closely monitor high risk activities; confined space entry gas testing and airmonitoring, lifting activities, work at height, movement of abnormal loads etc.• Produce pertinent toolbox talks with the assistance of responsible constructionsupervision including the identification of proactive and reactive site issues forcommunication to the workforce and collection of constructive feedback.• Operational personnel use and have correct protective clothing and equipment PPE.• Independent professional advice and technical information where appropriate toDepartment Heads and all Line Mangers to enable the company to discharge itsstatutory, common and moral obligations, keeping staff and Managers abreast ofchanges in HS&E Legislation.

• Strategically coordinate HSE training and LiHS activities from a corporate perspectiveto guarantee continuous improvement across the organisation• Ensure the implementation of the HSE• Competence, Training and Awareness Standard Procedure within the entireorganisation• Manage the design, planning and execution of HSE training courses and SafetyLeadership programmes through multiple training methodologies, tools and strategies• Evaluate the effectiveness of training delivery to ensure continuous improvement• Implement HSE initiatives, campaigns, and associated tools through robustcommunication strategies to ensure maximum effectiveness and dissemination• Influence Management to support the adoption and dissemination of the LiHSphilosophy and application of their personal and organisational LiHS responsibilities toensure the sustained growth of the organizational safety culture
