Implement and maintain suitable support contracts for the IT provision within the company. Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade and support of all IT Systems within the business. Takes responsibility for the definition, documentation and successful completion of complex projects, directing and counselling project team members, and advising clients/users as necessary on all phases. Ensures that own projects are formally closed and, where appropriate, subsequently reviewed, and that lessons learned are captured and appropriate action taken. Evaluates and makes recommendations/decisions on technical options as appropriate, actively contributing to organisation's technical strategies. Initiates and influences relationships with and between key stakeholders, in business change design, management and implementation, acting as a primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, planners, designers and operational business partners. Ensures that stakeholders understand available IT services, and promotes financial and commercial awareness in order to deliver value-for-money. Negotiates at senior level on technical and commercial issues, to ensure that customers, suppliers and other stakeholders understand and agree what will meet their needs, and that appropriate service level agreements are defined and put in place. Conducts analysis of demand for services and influences stakeholders to ensure that the necessary investments are made to deliver required services.

• Manage and monitor service level agreements and operational level agreement for current applications and services for BAESSDT.• Defining and Escalating issues related to time, cost and technical via the appropriate channels such as the Head of IS&TS, BAE Systems IM&T department or vendor escalation routes.• Analyze problem data and pro-actively highlight trends, ensuring that common issues are identified, managed and escalated appropriately.• To implement and follow SDT IT controls/processes, and update process documentation as directed by the Head of IS&TS. This will include but is not limited to activities such as new starters, terminations, system access, assets and website management.• Maintain and audit, as per agreed schedule, the asset management data for SDT to include SDT directly procured IT equipment, software licensing, classroom IT equipment, and vendor provided IT equipment.• Provision of IT related reports to the Head of IS&TS.• Provide SDT IT support for SDT projects as directed by the Head of IS&TS.

Accountabilities:• To be responsible of planning, designing, implementing, leading, organizing and administrating Training Information Management System ”TIMS” to meet business requirements.• To Manage TIMS staff and to review team members performance through the ePDR process and develop individuals and team and to be responsible for the effective management of his staff and resources through organization of timetabling, good order and maintenance of discipline.• To be responsible of planning designing, implementing and manage IT infrastructure required to deliver projects internally or externally.• To be responsible of scheduling upgrades and security backups of hardware and software systems.• To ensure that software licensing laws are adhered to, to provide access to the package network for remote users and to provide users with appropriate support and advice to help most effective use of the system• To be responsible of planning, designing, implementing, leading, organizing , administrating and Updating SDT website to reflect SDT image and activities.• To be accountable for the implementation of quality processes and the Health & Safety at Work Policy within the line of business in IT department.
