CurrentWorking as operation manager in the steel rolling industry (Rebars, Section mills, flat steel, hot rolling) at the pioneer company of steelmaking - EZZ flat steel a part of EZZ heavy industries group-with experience of successfully coordinating the activities with various departments concerned with the production, pricing, sales, and distribution of products. I was involved at the following:• I was a member in the team who participated the commissioning and start up activities for the 1.2 million tons of flat product, participating and signing the FAC-final acceptable test- of the plant (reheating furnaces, rolling mill stands till the finishing area) • Responsible for taking over, monitoring and organizing all production activities starting with the raw material (slabs) till completing the conversion cycle for producing steel hot rolled steel sheets• Coordinating all maintenance activities on weekly, monthly, and yearly basis • Coordinating customers’ orders with sales department and production planning sector • Managing a staff of over seventy employees, keeping a positive and productive atmosphere among staff, put an eagle eye on staff motivation and career growth • Responsible for keeping all operational KPIs at the accepted range in order to achieve management targets• Taking the liaison role between the production business unit (operation, mechanical and electrical maintenance) on one side and all other partners on the other side • Taking the responsibility of preparing purchasing requests needed for the replenishments of the business unit consumables and spare parts • Taking the spoken person role on behalf of the production unit in front of top management on the quarterly business reviews basis• Monitoring the quality of the final products, being responsible for taking all the remedy actions for producing prime products keeping our customers satisfaction level in a high rank • - Monitoring all external auditing activities
