Libya Telecom & Technology is the main ISP in Libya which is responsible for providing the various Internet services to residential & corporate customers e.g. (DSL, FTTH, WiMAX, VSAT, Hosting Services .....).Responsibilities:----------------------• Responsible of managing the teams of TEN technical departments of the company (90+ Engineers & Technicians), those departments are responsible for the daily operations, upgrade, maintenance & support for the following networks & services (More than 500K subscribers in the overall different services):• Core & MPLS Network. • ADSL Network.• WiMAX Network.• VSAT & DVB Services.• Web & Mail Hosting Services.• Transmission Network.• IT Network. • Network Operations Centre.• Convergence Billing System.• Hosting Services Data Centres.• Responsible of supervising the new projects which are related to the mentioned above networks & services.

Responsibilities:-----------------------• Managing a team of 4 engineers in this department.• Administration of Linux Web servers & mail servers.• Administration of Linux DNS servers.• Administration of (.LY) Libyan Top Level Domain Registry (Database – Whois Servers – DNS Servers)• Daily responsibilities include maintenance and support of RedHat Linux servers running SNMP monitoring through MRTG.

Responsibilities:-----------------------• Day-to-day administration of Mail Servers (Sendmail & IMail Servers).• Day-to-day administration of DNS servers (BIND Servers).• Installing, configuring & troubleshooting Linux OS servers.• Information Security Specialist. (Designing & day-to-day administration of Firewalls, IPSec VPN, IDS, Vulnerabilities Scanners, Log Management).• Analyzing technical security incidents & escalates security responses as appropriate.
