• As a Senior Application Support Engineer within the Market Map™ Operation team, A real-time solution that provides global market data, news and analysis. My main responsibilities are:
• Managed and operated production and DR servers, which include more than 300 servers divided into various categories: Windows, virtual machines (VMs) and Linux, such as those using Squid Proxy, Nagios.
• Governed incident, problem and interruption tickets (creation, follow-up, resolution) effectively in accordance with the SLA defined by working closely with the relevant support staff.
• Availed Nagios, Hosted on 8 Linux box, as well as SITEMON, an internal tool, allows to monitor more than 2000 services resulting in a 25% reduction in undetected system anomalies and elevating overall IT systems.
• Consolidated PowerShell Scripting allows us to convert recurring tasks into automated scripts, reducing the operations of manual management constraints (Toil) by 50%.
• Ensured the management and sustainability of 50+ Perl scripts developed by the former OPS team leader to ensure that these tools remain effective and adapted to current needs.

• Streamlined Response to incoming support calls and created detailed tickets to track and resolve issues.
• Assured In-person and remote technical assistance for over 120 employees with diagnostic techniques and relevant questions, resolving 95% of issues under established SLAs.
• Overhauled the Installation and configuration of laptops, PCs/desktops, printers, software and peripherals to improve production efficiency.
• Cooperated with IT Team on software upgrades and deployments assuring compliance & availability
• Improvised IT supplies inventory and orders, ensuring no downtime due to equipment shortage.
