My academic journey has equipped me with valuable skills in Python, SQL, C++, machine learning, data visualization, and pandas.I have excelled in mathematics and physics, consistently ranking at the top of my class. Through DEPI, I completed the AI track with IBM Data Science, gaining practical experience in machine learning, data preprocessing, and MLOps. I learned to apply these skills in real-world contexts, working on projects that highlight the power of AI in solving contemporary challenges.During my internships with DEPI and the National Telecommunication Institute (NTI), I deepened my understanding of industry practices and emerging technologies, including AWS and prompt engineering. I worked on diverse projects, including a malware prediction initiative sourced from Kaggle. This project emphasized the importance of predictive analytics in cybersecurity, showcasing how AI can mitigate risks and enhance security measures.My experiences have not only developed my technical capabilities but also my teamwork and communication skills. DEPI works in collaboration with international tech giants like IBM, Google, and Microsoft, ensuring trainees gain hands-on experience in the latest technological advancements.Throughout the six-month internship, I delved into various aspects of data science, gaining proficiency in Python, SQL, machine learning, and data preprocessing. and also explored advanced topics such as MLOps, MLflow, and large language models. These tools and methodologies equipped me with the ability to develop, deploy, and maintain machine learning models, enhancing my technical capabilities in real-world AI applications.The training culminated in a large-scale project — the Microsoft Malware Prediction challenge, which focused on predicting if a device would be attacked based on its features.
