In addition to GCC Global Leader position, Lead team of 12 WATSON scientists and 30 practitioners to develop a new cognitive software (Knowledge Management Module - KMM) that integrates with WASTON cognitive remote technical support automated systems. Leading to a quality of commercial software. This software is used currently in IBM to resolve 20% of L1 support/maintenance tickets for HW/SW of 20 different IBM applications and 5 different environments. Part of my role was to lead till product finalization including business/financial studies to attain ROI with 15 months of launching. This project was sponsored based on Negm’s proposal within 2013 competition for top 10 IBM global innovative solutions. The full team gained World recognition of IBM CEO Golden Club Achievers.

In November 2011-IBM Executive Board Member, I was nominated to build up and run IBM Software Global Competency Center as center leader. Part of this role was developing ROI for the center, hiring, building the hierarchy, developing policies, develop performance metrics, PKIs and comply with different mandatory of supported countries, etc, collaborating with two layers of management (6 managers), and 120 employees of different levels. The Global Competency Center is responsible to provide L2 and L3 remote technical support for various IBM and OEM environments as, eight teamin AIX, VM, TSM, Storage and Microsoft platforms. Starting from operational/business processes, hiring, planning and training personnel including carrier path development till starting up services covering USA, Canada, Europe.

During the first year of this post, I was responsible for Internet Security Systems transformation & Acquisition and blending with the IBM security business unit (running all due diligence process). This period included compiling a security portfolio for services, software and hardware driven from ISS along with security portfolio from two IBM security and consultancy services points. In addition to taking over leadership of current projects planned by IBM security in general and other business commitments by ISS. I led 10 managers in 16 different countries through out MENA region. With in hand the strongest global team of security consultancy business covering MENA and collaborating on assignments on global level. This is by providing technical and managerial leadership for 45 security practitioners, 10 teams lead and 8 managers.

Throughout this post, I was responsible to enforce Global Technical Leadership through the region, by leading 10 managers, 10 teams lead, 50 security practitioners. Quota owner for double digit growth and 15% YoY project engagements with new mega clients/projects. Also, own revenue recognition and target attainments. During this period, we achieved 65% of MENA security market shares with 28% YoY growth. When ISS was acquired by IBM we were having a stream of 24 projectscovering 19 different countries with sustainable revenue to next 36 months. Also, with at least 25% new clients increase YoY. Under my leadership I was responsible for presenting leadership in creating several Corporate Policies, Standards, Practices, and Procedures to allow different governmental, Telecos and private sector transformations. Additionally, Khaleddeveloped an audit process that determined compliance with all US/EU and Foreign Laws for most of the served areas. I acted as the CISO and/or ISO lead for fortune 12 Companies and different State Agencies to conduct assessment and realign the findings in an executable remediation/mitigation plan with an ROI driver. This activity has allowed clients to achieve a best practices posture for logical and information asset protection in compliance with ITU x.805, HIPPA, FESMA, PCI and ISO 27001 compliances. Also, responsible to lead the technical teams to deliver Payment Card Industry (PCI) ISO Security consultancies; Development of Policy, Standards, Practices, and Procedures; Policy and Regulatory GAP analysis; and Risk Assessments.

I started building up Etislalat Telecommunication internal security team. By the send of 2004, the team was ready for internal and external activities to deliver professional services in UAE. During that, as a senior executive, I provided consultancies to UAE government, Dubai Courts, assisted in developing Forensics Unit in Dubai and Governance & compliances with the Decision Support Department in Dubai. Khaled developed training for Judges and District Attorneys in the digital crimeactivities and investigation areas in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Also, I lead digital forensics investigation for the first case in the Middle East in the year 2002. Provided advisories of UAE digital crime law and it operational/execution articles. I lead teams of consultant for several legislative committees and forums to compile digital crime laws and digital privacy laws under several types of jurisdictional systems as Anglo Saxon, French, and Italian based.

During this period, I led Etisalat Telecommunication security LOB startup, creation of business process, team and reporting structure. Hiring and interviewing and carrier path development for team members. On academic level, lecturing in Etisalat university college, while supervising graduation projects and several M.Sc. theses. Moreover, I was the head of technicalcommittee of Middle East security conference for 5 consecutive years. I ran several key note speeches in the GCC area and head of judges for several hacking competitions in the Middle East.

By 1993 (till 1995) Khaled joined IAEA in Trieste-Italy, as a data scientist developing secure codes and communication encryption tools. In 1995 (till 1998) Khaled joined, AMES national lab team as a data scientist looking after security for first releases of Linux, network optimization for Honey Nets, distrusted systems, etc. In 1996, joined NATO/ECT*/NATO Institute of Advanced Studies as a Data Scientist. Delivered serval training for several security agencies throughout the middle east.Moreover, I was Ain Shams University Senior Security consultant while building the first university LAN/WAN over 23 remote sites connected to the main site serving 200,000 students, professionals and staff members. During this I lead a team to create security polices along with technical configurations to enforce security policies. Also, delivered network and Information security training courses in different regional universities, professional institutes and several companies as CISCO, IBM, Motorola and SUN microsystems.
