During this period I had to follow all ABB T&D business for Iraq (sales and Projects) and to insure proper coordination between various Iraqi and ABB parties, as a result many T&D May 2001 - April 2007: Member of ABB Near East Trading Company, based in Amman as T&D Sales Manager. During this period I was responsible for bids, proposals, sales, orders and or project handling and revenues activities for ABB Near East Trading for various projects in Near East countries. Sales activities covered various channels for products and systems like utilities, EPCs, Distributers and OEMs, I had to deal with working aspects related to each market e.g.: Iraq market is tough unstable one while Jordan market is a rather stable one but with extreme competition and precise project execution, however I managed to secure many business opportunities which insured prolonged growing market presence of ABB plus also I exceeded targets assigned to me, e.g.: orders, revenues, growth...etc. May 2007- June 2009: Member of ABB Technologies Company, based in Bahrain as Front End Sales Manager for Bahrain. During this period I managed relationship with customers and all Power Technology (Power Products and Power Systems) business of ABB for Bahrain and succeeded to considerably increase orders and margins volume and managed to secure excellent project execution for both the local ABB Company in Bahrain and other ABB companies outside Bahrain. During this period I managed to secure a potential order for ABB in Bahrain biggest ever for Bahrain, the order is a turnkey for 220/66 KV Substations, out of the so called EWA 2007/2011 development plan, valued around 200 MUSD, out of which until 2016 ABB was still getting variation orders from it. -

During this period I had an active role in Tendering, bid evaluation and projects follow up for all distribution projects. I was based in NEPCO head office in Amman. I always succeed to meet targets in various tasks assigned to me within deadlines.Sep. 1985 - Oct. 1986: Performing the training course mentioned above with NORWEB (Northwestern Electricity Board), Based in Chorley and Manchester.Nov. 1986 - May 1993: Back As in 1984-1985 plus sharing in NEPCO international services, one main task followed deeply by me was preparing tender documents, specifications, offers evaluation and awarding for an electrification project in Yemen (235 villages, from LV up to 11& 33 KV). June 1993 - July 1998: Consultant Resident Distribution Engineer, based in Taez, responsible for project management, execution and handing over to local authorities of the project mentioned above. Yemen is a tough country in terms of culture and geography, however I played a potential role in compromising between various stake holders needs which lead to finalizing this project in the most successful way ever in Yemen. -
