As a Finance Manager at AIESEC in Egypt, I was responsible for managing the budgets of 19 local chapters and leading a team of 19 members. My key responsibilities included:- Budget Management: Responsible for managing the budgets of 19 local chapters, ensuring that all expenses are properly authorized, recorded, and reported in a timely and accurate manner.- Financial Planning and Analysis: Responsible for developing financial plans and forecasts for the organization, including cash flow projections, revenue and expense analysis, and other financial metrics.- Risk Management: Responsible for identifying and mitigating financial risks, including currency exchange risk, credit risk, and other financial risks that may impact the organization's financial stability.- Financial Reporting: Responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, and presenting them to senior management and other stakeholders.- Compliance: Responsible for ensuring that the organization is compliant with all applicable financial regulations and laws, including tax laws and regulations, accounting standards, and other financial reporting requirements.- Team Management: Responsible for managing and coaching the team, monitoring their performance and providing feedback to help them improve their skills, and supporting their professional development.
