Hello! I'm Khaled Sayed, a passionate second-year Chemical Engineering student at Swansea University, UK, with a strong interest in Renewable Energy and sustainable technologies. I believe that engineering solutions can have a significant impact on our world, and I am eager to be part of this transformation. My goal is to leverage my engineering skills to contribute towards a more sustainable future.As an IChemE Student Ambassador and School Representative for Engineering and Applied Sciences, I actively work to improve the student experience at Swansea University. I advocate for my peers, collaborate with faculty, and assist prospective students, which has refined my communication abilities and allowed me to connect with diverse groups. These experiences have been instrumental in fostering a supportive learning environment.Beyond academics, I am a competitive powerlifter. My commitment to powerlifting has taught me discipline, goal-setting, and the value of pushing past limitations—qualities I bring to my academic and professional life. Additionally, I serve as the PR Manager for the Bahrain Society for Wales, promoting cultural awareness. I am also active in other student societies, including the Arab Society, Powerlifting Club, and ISOC. These roles have helped me develop leadership, teamwork, and event management skills, enhancing my ability to contribute positively to the campus community.Looking forward, I am excited about combining my engineering expertise with business acumen. I plan to pursue both an MBA and an MSc, broadening my skill set and opening doors in renewable energy and sustainable development.
