- Oversee cyclical reviews of user access for major QH financial systems.- Oversee running of periodic security access reports on a whole of system basis for data analysis to identify key risks and recommend action to investigate identified risks.- Identify and escalate major security breaches to senior staff and take remedial action as required.- Review and maintain appropriate policies, process and procedures regarding users requesting access.- Implement appropriate quality and compliance assurance procedures to ensure effective and continued internal controls.- Lead the Financial Management Assurance Program testing of business systems - Prepare reports and correspondence and initiate action regarding systems security.- Provide advice to senior managers regarding ongoing responsibilities around user access to ensure internal controls are maintained.

 Performed reviews on complex Queensland Health projects and programs and access controls for major QH systems. Examples of some recent audits I undertook are: o Access Controls - eHealth Systems. In this review Database, Operating System and Application level access controls of the selected eHealth systems were examined;o Adequacy and effectiveness of governance controls of Activity Based Funding implementation program; o Early Deliverables Program (payroll) governance controls adequacy; ando Adequacy and effectiveness of project management controls in Metro South Health Service District.Activities I performed in these audits were: o drafting Terms of Reference;o undertaking walkthroughs to identify risks and controls;o assessing design effectiveness of the controls; o developing or assisting in developing test strategies;o testing operating effectiveness; ando drafting the audit report including issues identified and recommendations; Currently I am preparing end to end Process Maps for the QH Payroll processes and identifying risks and controls within these processes. Outcome of this mapping exercise will be used to plan future audits within QH Payroll. Worked with a KPMG team in a co-sourcing arrangement on a major QH program office review. In this review I contributed in performing project health checks by examining existence and adequacy of project controls such as project artifacts against PRINCE2 project management framework;  Input into the development of Internal Audit Methodology;Additionally, I successfully managed TeamMate application upgrade project by:o preparing the Business Case and test cases for User Acceptance Testing; o negotiating and coordinating with the vendor and QH IT department; o communicating with the users and unit managers and keeping them informed on the project progress; o identifying and managing risks and issues; ando preparing and updating audit reporting templates.
